2 Day Requalification Course

The two day First Aid at Work (Requalification) is for learners who already hold a valid in-date First Aid at Work qualification and wish to renew that qualification.

 

It is based on the HSE training standard for delivery of First Aid at Work for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, and is recognised and accepted by the HSE.

 

The course covers a wide range of injuries and illnesses.

Summary

First aiders must requalify every three years in order to keep their skills up to date and

maintain their qualification.

This course is designed to refresh learners skills they previously learned on the first aid at work course and

renew their first aid certificate for another three years.

Who is this qualification for ?

This course is designed to be taken by anyone who is required to undertake requalification training under the 

Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

Course Requirements

Learners must have previously attended a First Aid at Work Course.

Each learner will be evaluated by the trainer to ensure they meet the minimum standards to

complete the course or qualification.

Requalification

If you currently hold or held a First Aid at Work certificate and are coming to the end of certification

you will be eligible for the 2 Day Requalification Course  

Qualification Structure

HSE requires at least 12 contact training hours for this course where learners will be assessed by

continuous observation and verbal communication with the trainer.​

Certification

Successful candidates will be awarded the First Aid at Work Certificate valid for 3 years
